How is the age calculated?

The age calculator uses calendar-based calculation, just as you would in everyday life. First, the number of full years is counted, then the remaining full months, and finally the remaining days. This means the tool accounts for the fact that months have different numbers of days — February has 28 days (or 29 in a leap year), while January has 31.

This differs from simply dividing milliseconds by 365.25 days, which gives an approximate result. Our method provides an exact age calculation.
